MOUNTAIN GREEN SECONDARY WATER

Notice for Rollins Ranch Shareholders

7/21/2025

Attention - Rollins Ranch

Notice to shareholders who reside in Rollins Ranch:

Many of you may not know that the secondary water provided to Rollins Ranch comes from Northwest Reservoir.  This resource is shared with numerous other agricultural users.  During the recent Northwest Irrigation Company board meeting, they discussed the lack of water in various creeks that normally flow into the reservoir.  Other discussions included the fact that the water level in the reservoir has dropped 4-5 feet in the two weeks since their last measurement.

Due to their concerns of ensuring the availability of water for the remainder of the season, the Northwest board will place restrictions on watering starting August 1st that may include the following:

  1. Water only every other day.
  2. No watering one week on and one week off by turning off the valves.
  3. Restriction of agricultural watering to every other day.

The Mountain Green Secondary Water board will be meeting soon to determine the appropriate course of action for Rollins Ranch users this season and to explore potential long-term improvements to the system.

We will share further updates as soon as they become available. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
