ANNUAL WATER ALLOTMENTS

Over the past few years, we've diligently monitored the water consumption of each shareholder. Our data has shown that the majority of users are responsibly managing their water usage while maintaining beautiful landscaping. However, there is a small minority of shareholders who are consuming disproportionately large volumes of water relative to their lot and landscaped areas. In response to this, the board has made the decision to introduce a new fee schedule. Each location within our service area is categorized based on lot size and irrigated acreage. These categories are assigned a yearly water volume allotment, as detailed in the chart below.

Throughout 2024, we will be closely monitoring total consumption towards this annual volume. Monthly meter readings will be taken to calculate both monthly and total water consumption. You can conveniently track your consumption on a monthly basis by logging into your account at utilitybillingsystem.net. Should it appear that you're on track to exceed your annual allotment, we'll reach out to you so adjustments can be made to your system. Please be aware that if you exceed your allotment before the end of the season, your water supply may be terminated. At the conclusion of the season, we will conduct a reconciliation to determine if you've exceeded your annual allotment. Shareholders who exceed their allotment will incur an overage fee for each 1,000 gallons consumed in excess.
